Blizzard Sued By Botting Program Creator

It appears that Blizzard have gotten themselves an adversary in the form of a 'botting' program and its developers. Users of the WoW Glider, under the WoW TAS's can have their account permanently banned; MDY intend to tell Blizzard where they can stick it. Talk about a David and Goliath case!!! What are the implications for the gaming industry if Blizzard actually lose this suit filed against them? Feel free to comment below...

I think it will sent a strong message that if I buy a game I can do with it what I want. I have always found the concept in online games weird where I buy the game and maybe even pay a monthly fee, but they reserve the right to do away with all my hard earned stuff and basically steal my $50 dollars. I really hope they win.

It's all in the fine print I say, so be it if they did get banned, although perhaps they could simply warn and yank on the characters it was used.
