I have a question about this res

I want to make a config that goes from the bottom(one outlet) stright to pump.
and as an inlet to the res I want it to be at the top(with the side with the three outlets/inlets)
is this possible?

and in all cases the res is sitting perpendicular to the floor

You can put it anyway.
After all, it's just a container of water.

I'm planning on doing to the same thing sometime soon.

That is exacly how I am running mine.

These reservoirs can be used any way you want, they can even be used horizontally.

but you will want to make sure the aqua-tube is on the goes-in side (slosh tube) not
the feed side. also check that aqua-tube periodically, they tend to loose some of the
plating. i moved from the chrome version, to the matte black with better results.
