Bitspower fittings cleaning threads ?

I've just received my first batch of the Deluxe White Bitspower fittings, and have noticed that some of the threads, are a bit tight, to begin with, looking at them it seems to be the paint in places coming off.

So a quick question really, is there any process to go through of is it a case, of getting out a blade and making sure it is all off the threads ? Or is there another less fiddley way of going about it ?

To be honest, I'm quite shocked at the bad finish on the threads, considering I've bought a mixture of 17 so far, at the cost of £135, I really expected a bit more, from such a good reputation for quality.

The fittings i bought recently....F me the rotaries are tight and barely turn.

how ever mine were matte black.

Yep I've the same problem here too mate, I found though that once you get them going and give them a good few turns each way, it sorts them out.

I have currently White fittings from Bitspower and WC parts for 1400 euros arriving next week....

Sorry mate but it's true, even the second batch I had arrive today are the same, it's not every one, just maybe about half, of them. I tried an old fitting, but it did,'t work too well, so I borrowed a G 1/4 die and run it up and down the threads a few times and they're OK now.

I've got to RMA a couple too, as there are a few chips in the paint finish, I think there QC needs to be revised, as this has never happened with anything Bitspower I've had before. It shouldn't be the case though as people buy Bitspower for the quality, and they're not cheep, at all, by the time I've bought just the fittings I'm going to be pushing on to £250.

My original plan was to go solid tube with there angled fittings, but after I worked out it would cost what it would, I decided not to bother, and go with good old barbs, I've designed my loop without any bends and I've got lengths of tube cut, and it's being held taught over a cloths airer to try and get the curves out, it seems to be actually doing the trick.

Mine did it too - dont worry about it just get them in - use an old block thats metal if youre worried about bits getting in your loop

My xspc rotories where quite tight as well. And I've got some alpha cool elbows and they are awesome!

Op maybe you should look at the Aquatuning rigid fittings and Tubing I believe it works out more cost effective than bitspower.

Yea but there butt ugly mate, the Bitspower are pure sex, well as far as fittings go.
