Bitfenix Alchemy 24 pin cable extension

Got some Bitfenix alchemy cable extensions today. The PCIe ones fit fine, but the 24 pin one won't play ball. Just gets stuck half way down the connector.

PSU is a 1200W CM Silent Pro Gold. Connector is 20+4. There shouldn't be any difference between 24 and 20+4 should there? (aside from the obvious)

See if any of the holes are bent in some sort of obvious way. Check from the extension side, and the PSU side.

Nothing too obvious either end.

Actually, since I typed that about 15 mins ago, I've got it connected. Was just a case of getting a little screwdriver in there and shifting a few pins up or down to get them lined up.
