bit of a problem

playing with a 930 cpu at present sometimes it shows up in bios and cpu-z as 2 cores and sometimes it shows as 1

could that be a cpu fault or could it be my crappy biostar pt890 se mobo

i gave the cpu an extra half volt in bios spent the past 10 minutes rebooting and it seems to be ok damn biostar mobo

nope cpu is borked on a damn lappy now gotta try and get me another free cpu

well my mum bought me a p5b vanilla mobo for my birthday (tis funny listening to an old biddy on the phone to an overclocking store asking for a p5b vanilla and then telling the sales chap he aint buying icecream cos he`s on a diet ) dang its better than the damn biostar. Fired it up changed the fsb to 240 and booted up straight away to 3.6 on my 930 cpu blooming marvellous just got to learn intel ocing again properly now but thats the fun innit
