Biostar motherboards ?

Simple question for you guys.Are Biostar motherboards any good.From what I've seen they look interesting basically the same specs like for like,but I don't see many,if any builds with them.I think that I have answered my own question with that that last comment,but you never no till you ask.Cheers for looking guys.
 
I used a Biostar motherboard when I did a computer build a few years ago. I was on a really tight budget. As far as I know the computer is still running. Personally I would not use one for my personal rig unless I didn't have any other choice. I am pretty partial to MSI and ASUS though and I usually look on the higher end. In all they appear to be an okay low end budget board with the intentions of running the rest of hardware at stock clocks. They will perform alright but I would not plan to set any records with one. ;P

I do not know much about the current boards,but I had an old 939 one and my dad still uses his 754 one.Ont the old P45 boards,they were stupidly good(the T power series),they got a couple of world records:
