BIOS update

Hopefully i am posting this in the correct section (99% positive that i am). I have a Asus z68v lx motherboard, and i am thinking of getting the 3570k procesor as an upgrade for my pc. The thing is that the BIOS needs to be updated to do so, but i have not ever done a bios update because i did not need to. So here are some general questions that i would like to be answered: What would be the best way to update my bios, i have the AI Suite II installed on my PC and it has an option to update bios from there (4 choices are offered)

--> 1 update bios from internet, 2 download bios from internet, 3 update bios from file, 4 save bios to file...my thinking is that its probably better to download from asus website and then use the update from file or am i mistaken.

Any and all help in this regard would be kindly appreciated.

Get the manual out that came with the board. Follow the flash from USB guide on there.

Its faffing simple just download the rom on to a blank USB drive and follow the instructions. Its so simple you just need to crack on with it
