Bio-Hazard

I was totally surprized when I cranked this thing up with the new block. I've read all the hype about it online and figured that maybe I'd get a little improvement, but this is more than I had expected from just swaping out a block. My old standard APOGEE even had a great contact patch between the CPU IHS and water block base as well, so this improvment is basicly all block.

But the damn this is expensive, even over here in the States, almost twice as much as the old APOGEE.

Just a few small updates to the rig..............:D, mostly on the inside..............;)

Sweet rig man, that's a really good layout very clean and tidy. This is kinda a n00b question but whats the fan in the middle for? Is it to cool the mem, cos I heard that 120mm's can have too large a dead-spot to do the job as well as say a 92/80.

If a 120mm fan is to close, dead spots can be a issue, the trick is to get its placement right. This is why I have it on a fully adjustable bracket..........;) I had a 800mm fan on it at one time, but the 120 seems to work better and the 120 is also a lot quieter as well.

It's a video card block that I haven't got around to installing yet. Sort of waiting around on deciding if I want to get a different block or not.

Isnt that restricing flow though, you just aswell taking it out till you decide.. :p or do you like to feel the cold plate now and then :p
