BF3 Clan

Anyone else getting crashes with any driver newer than 301.42? I've tried 304.79 and the new 306.02, both cause BF3 to not start at all, just black screen and then "Battlefield 3 has stopped responding." Running a 670 by the way.
 
Those are beta drivers, atleast thats what the Nvidia site says. Im not installing them until they go out of beta. I need BF3 to stay alive :P
 
I did get crashes with 304.79.
Got back to 301.... and no problems - although I did also reinstall the game fully at the same time so not sure what the cause was
 
OK well this is pretty cool. Not sure if it's the new patch or the 306.02 drivers which I finally got to work, but I can overclock my 670 like crazy now. Before I used to be able to squeeze a couple MHz out of memory and core clock until I saw these trees pop up everywhere, but now I'm at +210 on the clock and +515 on the memory and it's been stable for an hour or so of play time. Very cool.
 
I reallize you probably already have played and figured out your style of play.. but for me I regret that I didnt just play alot of fast-paced TDM (fx 32 players in metro) when I started.. think I could have had a much better KD.

If you are playing for KD,you are playing the game wrong.

That helped massively for me. I only started using keyboard and mouse over controller when I started BF3. It helped me loads to get into it on TDM Canals or similar just to get used to movement and reacting quickly
 
Anyone up for a little plane vs plane action? I'm trying to practice flying since its so damn fun with 3 screens, but getting on an empty server doesnt help with combat and getting on one with people ends up with me getting my arse kicked. 2 planes on each side, so we could do 2 v 2 if anyones interested.
