I just finished playing the beta version and its not for the faint hearted, it worked my lightnings pretty hard but i had maxxed everything out. max temps i got where 62 degrees

but a bloody wonderful game

Tell me about it lol, i have my gtx 560ti hawk rocking out 1030mhz on the core and i can only play on high settings + temps are getting a little out of control

Have you downloaded the latest drivers. There is a 285.something driver that supposedly improves the game play. However, the driver may cause BSOD issues as it did on my computer so I had to roll back the driver. The BSOD funnily enough didn't occur when playing battlefield and rather when I was playing GTA IV: Eps from Liberty City. The BSOD happened 30 minutes into the game and when I rolled back the driver, I no longer had any more issues in the 3 - 4 hours I played.
