Best Z77 motherboard

Haha, forgot about techbuy, they are the most overpriced shop in Australia though.
I use PC Case Gear, I buy all my parts from there, great prices and customer service :D
I asked PCCG to get one for me, if they don't, I'll get it from techbuy !!

From where?
A Rampage IV extreme.

Techbuy :)
$250
It should be $225
But I'll not be paying shipping costs because the shop is 20 minutes from my house so I think it's a good price in my situation.
I will wait for a while before I pay the money to see if it'll be cheaper at PCCG, otherwise I'll get it.
I used to like ASUS boards, but they fill them with piles of features, which are useless to me, rather than real performance, reliability and durability which makes them more expensive, MSI Z77 MPower is exactly what I'm looking for :)

Infact, Asus boards are still very reliable, whilst being packed with features too. They may market more about features than boasting 'military grade caps' or anything, but they do still make incredibly reliable products.

The more features the more expensive.
MPower beats any of their ROG boards in reliability and performance at half the price.

I'd quite like to see your info on this since they aren't really old enough to be proven for reliability over time, and I'm pretty sure they don't perform better.
If you're basing this on DOAs or something - then I think that's a little unfair since the MSIs are hand picked so the dead units would never get sent out to the consumer

I had a bad experience with ASUS, I know their boards are good but they are extremely overpriced.
Do you think I should go with see through tubing with yellow fluid or black tubing with Monsoon Gold fittings?
I'm really liking the black and gold colour scheme but not many things are gold, so I have to go with mostly black with some gold accents.
Will post pictures once I get it done :D

I think yellow coolant would look horrible, so the monsoon fittings would be my choice,

Maybe use Corsair SP fans on the rad and paint the rings gold?

Great idea.
I will get gold paint and paint them, hopefully I get artificial gold otherwise it would be very expensive.

What do you thing about this, would this work?

itll be "goldish" but not leaf.. if you go back to the link, along the right-side there are other tuts about leafing.

airdeano

I decided to go with black + silver, I found a really high quality metallic silver permanent marker on ebay.
Also, I found corsair dominator Platinum 8GB for $100 and my waterblock is silver so black + some silver is the way to go, I kinda dont like the black/gold colour scheme, would look like yellow and the gold fittings are too small to be visible.
