im torn because now ive heard the gtx 560ti is quite loud!

The Asus P8H61M-LE USB3 would be a nice choice. It won't be necesssary to get the Z68 chipset anyway for your situation. The simpler the better right? Oh, the GTX 560 Ti is great. The nVidia cards run quieter than most of the current AMD cards. Which of the GTX 560 Ti have you chosen?

If you don't plan on overclocking much then the Asus P8H61 is a quality board for your build.

As for the 560Ti being loud it depends which model you get. Which one did you have in mind?

Thanks again guys,

I was looking at the - MSI GeForce GTX 560 Ti TWIN FROZR II

£180.67 INC VAT

Heard its 20% cooler, Overclocked? and runs quieter but whats advertised and what you experts know is probably a ton different! Honestly all these words i feel like im learning a new language! Which one would you guys recommend if i wanted a quiet, reliable, and powerful one (in that order)

Is overclocking easy and if so what are the benefits?

The cheapest Asus or Gigabyte motherboard should be fine. Asrock are known to have a lot of problems.

As for the 560 Ti you can create a fan profile in MSI Afterburner to make it virtually silent while doing regular activities and when Gaming you can crank the fans up to 60 - 80% and the noise of the fan should not be noticeable over the game sounds

Brilliant so the MSI one is a good choice?

As for power supply units are there any recommendations on a good brand and the correct wattage for this rig?

450watt Standard PSU

CiT 450W Black Edition PSU (add £5.57)

CiT 500W Black Edition PSU (add £13.93)

CiT 600W Gold Edition PSU (add £16.72)

CiT 700W Black Edition PSU (add £19.50)

Powercool 650W High Efficiency Black PSU (add £29.26)

im wondering if my 650w choice may be overkill?

When I said MSI I was talking about motherboards. But graphics card wise the MSI 560 ti is a good choice. And for the PSU 650W would be more than enough for a single card solution and maybe sli 560 ti in the future. My suggestion for the PSU would be to go for one of the better quality/reliable companies like Corsair, CoolerMaster, OCZ, BeQuiet, etc. If they seem too expensive for you then make sure to check out some professional/user reviews on your PSU of choice before making your final decision.

Yup, I agree. In most likelihood something like a Corsair HX650 will be a good decent PSU for your system. Other PSUs you may look through could be from Enermax, Seasonic, Silverstone. ASRock does tend to have problems. I'd definitely go with Asus, Gigabyte or MSI for the motherboard selections. The Asus P8H61-M would be a good selection from your list.

MSI Twin Frozr II GTX 560 Ti would be a nice card to have. It's reliable, keeps itself cool and quiet, and will is great even if you don't OC.
