hi i have a nhd14 cooler and a 2600k cpu

just wanted to know which is a best thermal compound for my cpu

since i want to over clock to 4.6 - 4.8ghz and i want long term which dosnt have to be changeg every 6months to a year

i read about following three

coollaborotory liquid pro / ultra (its the best but not long term) ps whats different between pro and ultra

indigo extrme (expensive it can be hard to apply /use melt etc)

ic diamond 24 carat but cant find it any where

I'd stick with the TIM that comes with the NH-D14, it's actually very good. Otherwise what you listed and MX-4 are good choices.

hi

@ SparkleDJackson i want ic dianond 24 carat not 7

i want something which will last for a year or two (no need to change it)

the fist one i mentioned have to be removed and reapplied every 6 months

so what ur saying is you dont want to fuss with cleaning ur rig but every 2 years or so..if so be prepared for this

Most tims should net you at least a year. The indigo while prolly the best performing out there is really hard to do and its cost is another factor. Beside the fact you have to run ur proc to near death temps for it to seat. plus Iirc its more of a water cooling (best results) type of tim. I'd stick with the NH-1 or MX4
