Best Thermal Compound for a Desktop?

mx-4 is the best all round use paste imo. good price, good performance, nice constancy, spreads well using the make an x method that i use for application, non conductive if that bothers you and has a good life span. right there in the sweet spot for everything cant fault the stuff..

i have tried ic diamond in the past.. honestly didn't see a difference with it compared to mx-4 apart from its a lot more expensive.

Gelid GC Extreme has always been my TIM of choice, and I'm quite glad that graph agrees with me! I pop the syringe in a cup of hot water for a few minutes before I use it as it's quite thick and sticky when cold.

My uncle got me in love with Noctua years ago, they never failed me, and got good customer support as far as i'v experienced. I'm sticking with them for now and i get NT-H1 very cheap for my country standar pricing (Norway)
