best red led fans

I got 5 CM SickleFlows. They're not completely silent, but they're pretty sweet. I actually got them in red. I like them personally. I'll actually be buying 5 - 7 more for water cooling (may buy 10 to 12 in green or blue, want to do an alien theme).

true but you have to be pretty close to them to actuaslly hear them well. Now that my rig is on a cardboard box ontop of my desk I hear them a little. but I run them 12v

I hear my stock cooler more than the fans. I jumped an old Dell PSU to test all the fans at once. Even with 5 going on 12V, it's pretty quiet. I plan to run 10 to 12, and the price point is excellent too. 8.99 at NCIX (5.50 GBP).

The Phobya fans Tom used in the Shadow H2O build looked amazing. They're not available in the US/Canada AFAIK.

Well it seems that they are available here

Those Phobya black/red fans are PWM 4 pin. Is it safe to connect the 4 pin fans into a 3 pin fan controller? Isn't that 4th wire just for the auto-speed adjust feature when you plug it into the motherboard? well, if we are using fan controllers, then that 4th wire really isn't needed. Just love the look of the fans though!

The coolermaster sickle flows fans are a lot better than the Phobya ones i have both

the sickle flows get my cpu temps down by 7c-9c over the Phobya fans

but the Phobya are more silent look nicer and are easyer to clean

so you need too think whant you whant more

1. sickle flows for verey good performance and silent

2 . Phobya for leas performance (but still good ) looks easy cleaning verey silent and PWM 4 pin

I could get the Phobya fans from an American e-tailer, but I'd pay out a** in shipping. It's $20 for a 4.8g tube of IC Diamond (the bigger 24 carat tube).
