Best material for dust filtering

OK looking into making my own fan filter for a project for a open air style case mod.
I'm currently on eBay (uk) and looking for something fine enough to catch the dust
So far looked at women's tights
Mosquito netting
Any thing I should consider?
already ordered magnetic strops

tights are about the best you going to get for it without looking at the HEPA filters. There are various people out there that have made mods using this stuff, and it is probably going to be about the best dust filtration stuff you can get.... just looks fugly as hell though...

These days I have given up on things like dust filters.

I prefer to use cases with paint finishes like the LD V8 that don't really attract dust.

Back plates on GPUs that are easy to wipe clean.

Waterblock on the CPU instead of big air cooled rad unit.

I find it is easier to have a PC that is easy to keep clean than try to keep the dust out.

I updated my build log yesterday with a dust filter mod, I've used Voile net curtain as it's very fine mesh and plain pattern suits just fine, only down side is it's White unless your going to dye it. I'll be trialing this over the next few weeks to see how well it performs.

Have this in my system http://www.inoxia.co.uk/catalogue/mesh/sheets/200-mesh.aspx Seems to be working a treat, though have only had the pc a couple of weeks, but it hasn't any noticeable dust yet. Easy to work with too. I tried the 400 silk mesh, but it was a bit finicky, it really is silky smooth though.
