Best GPU For Folding

Hey. I have the P55-GD65 Mobo which supports two graphics cards in SLI or Crossfire. What would be the best card(s) for £250 that will get the best PPD?

Two gtx460 oc`ed to 880-900mhz will give you 24k ppd

MSI gtx460

Sli connector wont be needed for folding.

Ive spotted some pictures online of people with four of these in a rig. How is this possible. Are they just throwing the cards in a 4 way mobo without sli connectors?

Yes,sli connector would cause trouble. WU`s are running different in speed and ram usage.Worst case it will bsod.

A single gtx560 ti is 15k ppd and gtx570 is 17-18k ppd.

Two gtx460 is best bang for buck.

Two 560 Tis are not an option then? I'm not a gpu folder but I thought I read about the 460s taking the biggest points hit on the newer gpu WUs.

Gtx560 Ti are great for folding,but he only have 250£ to buy for.Price for a single decent 560 ti is 170-190£.Two msi gtx460 i have linked costs 235£.

Edit:Have noticed new gpu wu`s gives like 1k+ ppd on my gtx560 ti(up to 15.5k ppd),and my gtx 460`s is on par(12k ppd).
