I have a G15 rev1 and have no complaints what so ever.

The lighting that people are moaning about is because the LEDs are PCB ones and therefore give limited spread in that distance. At night even the low settings means you can see it perfectly from 15ft away. I use a modified !TIMMY! profile to show temperatures of all cores, gpus and mobo as well as utilization of cores and ram with fraps readout also. I'd like the NB temp but mine doesnt seem to have one for everest and therefore cannot be used in LCDStudio
