Best DDR4/DDR5 gaming RAM (no heat sync) & advice!

Hi guys,

It's been a long time since posting here!

I currently have some Corsair Vengeance DDR4 RAM and have clocked it to tight timings from 3000mhz to 3993mhz 1.35v stable.

I am however out of curiosity considering purchasing some gaming RAM that doesnt come with heat-syncs so I can water cool/air cool the RAM with larger third party heat spreaders but I can't for the life of me find any gaming RAM that doesn't come with these!

I don't want to remove my exiting heat syncs due to voiding the manufacturer warranty on my current RAM.

So my questions are below:

Can anyone recommend DDR4/DDR5 (with plans to upgrade to DDR5 in future) gaming RAM with good warranty, particularly Corsair, without the heat syncs?

&

Is it worth water cooling/third party cooling DDR4/5 RAM to get further overclocks/achieve higher overclocks by further being able to increase the voltages much higher than what the standard heat syncs can do?

Many thanks!

Water cooling DDR4/5might just be overkill these days, as the heat spreaders work pretty well. Overvolting the ram regardless of watercooling will probably just fry the ram and void your warranty. As for DDR5, buy faster ram that already has a higher voltage like 1.4v and call it job done.
A year ago 6000Mhz ram was far cheaper than 7200Mhz, but the prices have pretty much leveled. Case in point: One particular kit of G.Skill at 6000 costs $211.50 (AUD) while a 7200 kit of Lexar is only $209
I just went with the higher speed kit. Job done. Sure you can save a few bucks but getting slower ram. Second case in point: one kit of DDR5 6000 at $179, another at $189, and 6400Mhz kits at the same prices.....
Look more into ram that is officially supported in the QVL of the motherboard you want to buy, and consider the latency, not just megahrtz, and the price.
