Best, Cheap speaker

I'm looking for some decent quality 2.1 speakers that are around £20-40

Depends really on what you define as decent. With all audio equipment there can be a big drop off in quality as you start spending less..

well out of your price range, but harmon kardon soundsticks would be good for what you want.

you are not going to find anything "decent" at that price. at that price they are just paper cones that make noise. decent speakers start at $150 with the exception of Harmon Kardon and klipsch which are incredible.

The problem with altec lansing is they have a huge quality drop. way more so than the majority of other companies.

Tbh, if you really want speakers, spending a bit extra is a worthwhile expenditure in terms of the boost in quality you get.

Otherwise just get some headphones, Klipsch Image S4's or something

Actuslly thats a good idea, I think i'll get some cheap speakers for youtube and whatnot then some more expensive headphones for games.
