You sure it is 65mm? If it is then it might just fit with my setup. My rad is a phobya also though so it is probably the same thickness as yours (it is advertised as 60mm)
yeah my bad had to remeasure it. it is 60mm lol but as I said the switch has 85mm of room for rad and fans. I do see the layout issue with ur mobo but one thing to keep in mind is my rad is a 3x140mm fan rad so its wider than the 120mm rads so that may buy you some real estate on ur 8pin. Either way the 810 is an awesome case i love mine actually thinking about getting a gun metal one for my spare rig
oh and if ya ever needed to get to it the roof detaches easily and lifts off with a simple removal of about 8-10 screws. Even if ya just need to lift it a tad to pop off the 8pin its easy enough to do. Its how I change my fans lol
Push Vs Pull - This depends on fan speed/power. The high speed fans at 2000RPM with a 38mm fan thickness provided the best performance in a push condition. The slow speed fans with 1350RPM with a 25mm fan thickness provided the best performance in a pull condition. I would estimate that performance line is likely to cross in the 1500-1700RPM range where they are equal. So.... slow speed = pull, high speed = push, medium speed = it doesn't really matter.
Most people would probably suggest that you setup the configuration for the fan's most likely often used RPM. Since keeping it under 1200rpm is what you want to keep it quiet, pull is better.
If you look my signature you see my speck and all watercool parts are in, but even if Tom give this case silver or so i think he dont like it and so you might not too.
To me its great, it hase room for all i need and it dont look from out of space

Can I have a picture? That was a case I was considering also.
For now I have slightly modded my cosmos s by cutting off part of the top cover to allow me to add a fan there' in pull while still being able to close it. Before I had to leave the top off so this makes it not as bad ^_^
Both my fans on the rad are 2000rpm running at 1200 idle then go full speed when cpu reaches 45 degrees (doesn't happen except when stress testing)
I was looking into sticking a 60mm thick 240 on my 500r it can be done by simply drilling holes in the top for fan mounts more towards the mesh side of the door it goes out far enough so it exceeds the height of my corsair vengeance ram (the tall kind) however the rad would be a little "low." The case also has a nice 200mm fan on the side of it for your gpu.

The fractal arc midi can do the same thing without modding since the rad is so far away from the motherboard. You can fit an unlimited thickness rad but it looks a bit silly hanging so far over the motherboard
