Best case for £50

Could you not spend a little more and get the Corsair 300r?

You could place the HDD on the floor, but I still think things will be a little tight - and maybe not very breathable.
I just think you should try and get the best you can really - I think you'll regret it if you do upgrades in the future and are stuck with a cheapish case

I was just gonna ask what you though about the 300r :D My one problem with the 300r is IMO it just looks a bit plain :/ where as the T9 looks really nice :/

Really not sure, Gonna have to think about it for a while :D

Put nice led fans in it - mod a window in a few months if you fancy it - make it your own.
I personally prefer the 'plain' cases as you can make them your own better I think. It's harder to do anything personal to cases that are covered in plastic and bling :)

I'd go for a 300R or a Fractal Core 3000. Or what about an Arc Midi? It's currently £68.95 on Amazon. Not sure if you can stretch that far but i'd say it's worth it if you can

I put a window in my Antec 300.
Just masking tape it, draw it, file it - a lot. Then put on edging tape so you cant see ragged edges.

Then mount acrylic on with double sided tape.
Easy enough.

Some cases can be tricky as they have support beams, and awkwardly placed fan grills, but the 300R should be fine.

The 300R window looks shit with the fan grills

Looks like Im gonna go with the 300r then :) Unless someone can suggest anything better I have missed? :)

Edit : I forgot all about the Shinobi :L It looks good but anyone know if it is actually any good?

If you're like me and are currently running open air then just buy a £10 Casecom shell and drill some 140mm fan mounts in to the side. This is if you don't care for looks and just want something to transport the system inside and to protect it from static etc.
