Best Block for Quad core?

Im sitting here at 16*C on both cores with the standard apogee...... got absolutely nothing to do with TEC but i felt the need to share it with someone :)

Using CoreTemp?

I don't think a pelt is necessary and would advise that only people who "know what they're doing" and don't care much about their hardware being ruined get one :)

How is that even possible? What you clocking at? What volts? Is it just your cpu in the loop? Those be impressive temps!

Does having a pelt really help bring temperatures down? Don't know if I should get one

If you are prepared to insulate your mobo, then you can have -10 degC and higher stable clocks. You need a seperate psu, the Booster X3 for example, and a water block that can have a tec and cold plate attached.

More info available on request mate ;)

you folding with those temps Llwyd?

I wish, my folding has been failing left right and center atm, which is odd because my OC is rock solid :( I might download the GPU client later but my gfx card is on its last legs ....

With folding at 75% it sits at about 29*C. Eventually my room gets warm though at it climbs to the mid 30s

How would you be planning to fold on an nvidia card? They added support for us?

Nope, forgot about that. I'm tempted to give it a shot anyway but I think it might be the last straw for this card - plus there is no chance it will work lol
