I cant decide between Fuzion or Apogee GT.

I'm going to be overclocking like crazy so need a good performing, reliable block

There's a load of information out there.

Personally I'd get the FuZion as it's sexy :D

Yeah the FuZion is extremely sexy. However, I think there was a comparison in this forum a few weeks back and the GT managed to just about nab the performance crown.

Fuzion for looks, Apogee Gt for performance, they both perform near par, but i think more tests have shown that the Apogee GT to be better. if u dont like plastic barbs id get some EK high flow barbs

I've just bought the fuzion for the reason that the installation of the GT can be hit and miss due to the curved base and the temps are pretty well on par (depending on setup). I'll have mine installed tomorrow, and I can give you some feedback on the reults.

Nice mate, I wanna see that bad boy in action. That block almost makes me wanna give up my pelt just so I can use it :p

Once I get my current reviews finished, I'll do one on the D-TECH, how's that sound?

Ye, we'll send D-TECH the bill for the review after ;)

Yeah I just read that tday too . Apparently it took swiftech 25times just to mount it properly (using a convex base i think) let alone for me to do it well meself.

Dammit why are WC kit so hard to find in the uk....

Yeah the installation can be very fickle on the GT, and as far as I'm concerned I want it working right, straight out of the box. Currently I'm running the Swiftech Storm G4 Rev 2 and the temps are great, but it is really only designed for single core use or cpu's without an IHS. I have one core (C1) that is always 3deg C higher in temp than C0 :p

Peevles, would you be able to do me a favour and measure the LxW of the base of that block. I'd really like to upgrade from my DD Maze4 but need a block that will cover the whole pelt or i'll risk blowing it up.

Cheers dude...and oooooh I see bolts on each corner. I think i've found a way to mount a coldplate :D

Np's mate, and yeah coldplate would be deffo achievable. The tape in the picture doesn't look like it is, but the block is exactly 50mm x 50mm. How large is your pelt?

I cant remember now, but it's either 40x40 or 50x50 so it looks like it'll fit

Im sitting here at 16*C on both cores with the standard apogee...... got absolutely nothing to do with TEC but i felt the need to share it with someone :)
