Best 80mm and 92mm case fans

As above bit of an odd one, i use a Silverstone LC17 for my gaming rig which is in profile. I have a Q9400 @3.6GHz with a Mini ninja but the LC17 case fans seem useless and don't seem to be exhaustiung enough air. My temps are fine but would still like a cooler case!

What are the most powerfull price/performance 80mm fans available that will push decent amounts of air for the case, am not fussed with noise at all. And also looking to put the ninja in a push/pull, what 92mm's will suit the ninja? again not fussed with noise.

Are the Sharkoons any good and do what i want? or the xsilence?

never had any experience with them mate but they are enermax fans and they are top notch im sure plenty of ppl on here can tell u that and they will be super quite, id love to load my case with the 120 versions but they are like £10 a pop and i have 7 in the case and 2 on my true lol

those fans u said look ok, but they push 10cfm less but are 10db more than the enermax's but they are pricier

Yeah just noticed the specs now. I have a wanted ad up for some fans atm and if nothing comes up tonight i may have to grab them Enermax fans as they seem to be what i'm after. Although the yate loons from when i had the 120mm versions where very good, aere the smaller yates as good as the bigger brothers?

Cheers mate may just go with them Enermax if nothing turns up as they look very good for the money.

exactly mate! so i have a case of miss matched ones ive picked up over time, but some are needin replaced, need to get myself a load of 140mm's

If you truly are not concerned at all about noise, then you may wish to check out the VANTEC TD8038H 80mm Case Fan.

These truly pack a serious punch, but you will hear them running without a speed controller.

The Enermax fans you linked are only 23.4 CFM (That is pretty low)

The Vantec = 84.1 CFM (Can go as high as 119CFM) (Very high for an 80mm fan)

The Vantec is also low priced

Are these avaiable in the UK? Can't seem to find much on them other than being exactly what i'm after.

I cant post direct links yet.

Do a Google search for - VANTEC TD8038H alatest

or Google - VANTEC TD8038H UK buy online

Amazon, Newegg, and Tigerdirect have these. and I think they have shipping / sites specially for the UK.

scorchingice - They are a mission to get hold of those fans way to much hassle, i could find nobody that stocks them. Cheers for the suggestion though mate as they looked what i was after. Anyway, bit of an update, i have just ordered the fans below and went with 2 of the Enermax for the exhaust fans and 4x 92mm Asetek Extremes, 2 for a push/pull config on the Skythe and 2 for the front of the LC17.

Dunno if i have done the right thing but they seem to review well the Extremes.

That should do the job right?

Cheers chaps
