Best 240mm for 5820K?

Open to the idea of 120mm or 140mm.

Budget of up to about £100.

It's going to be going into a Fractal Design Core 500 case if thats any help.

Overclocking the 5820K to as much as I can get it (heard its a lottery between 4.2 and 4.6ghz)

Heard you can go to 280mm but its a tight as fit!.

Youll need to work out what cooler you can get in to that case dude, Ive not used it. If you did it properly then a 240mm would probably be ok but a 280 wouldnt hurt if it fits. Just remember 140mm fan upgrade options are limited.

H100i GTX will should fit, around the £100 mark too. Great AIO, and more than enough to cool while remaining quiet.

Doesn't the only x99 ITX motherboard out there have a slightly odd socket? IIRC it comes with an adapter for certain AIOs like the H100i.

You do but I have the adapter from AseTek which I got from eBay

So that means it presumably only works with Asetek AIOs?

Don't go mental on the cooling because if you are using the Asrock ITX board your limit will not be cooling it will be the board itself.

It's no overclocking monster and concessions have been made to make it that small.

Well with the board I got another bracked too which looks to fit a H80i or H100i

As it stands its between a Kraken X41 or a Corsair H105.

The board comes with a bracket to natively mount some Cooler Master AIOs on it (with this pump/block design)

You can use it on select Corsair AIOs too though, with some spacers/washers/standoffs

Ended up going for a Kraken X31 with a Noctua NF-F12. Figured if i want to downsize the case even more to something like a Silverstone SG13, I can do lol
