Benchmarking - The best 3d mark settings?

Guys,

We all know and love/hate 3dmark (all of them).

But I notice that some people with similar spec and speed systems somehow manage to blits 100's of more marks.

How do they do it?

I believe there are specific driver settings to use on each test, post your recommended settings for 3dmark 2001, 03, 05 and Aquamark here.

Sharing the tricks of the trade here to make the EP-UK benchamrking team the ones to beat. State Nvidia or ATI in your post.

Other than overclocking....... software wise use coolbits.

Additionally, what I do is in each application profile i.e. 3dmark03 & 05 I change the image setting to high performance will give a good few more points.

I'm sure there are loads more tweaks that be had.... like configuring the BIOS properly, make sure it is the latest version available..... and small things like turn things off you don't use. You'd be suprised what some people still have enabled in BIOS. (Won't really help scores, but I do it anyway).

And finally tweak windows so there are nowt running in the background.

But I'm sure everyone in these forums already know that.
