Benching RAM

I have a set of Gskill that happily runs at 2.5 3 3 6 at the moment but have noticed that most people with good benching scores are running tighter timing's with mushkin red line RAM i think?

Would you recommend this as the best benching RAM??

My setup currently has no fan cooling the RAM directly will this be a problem?

Its pretty good for benching- depends on the benchmark though. If the HTT is high enough, it can perform just as well as tight timings

yeah u need to run max HTT try getting 290&300mhz and using the multiplier to get the rest of ur clock

e:g 295x11 @ 2.5-3-3-6

Else use BH5 ram and run 265 (or higher ) at 2-2-2-5

Afaik Kennys Mushkin does that as well CH-5 though.. suposadly my VX does too but the rig is always to dead to get that far.
