Well jelly isn't anything like jam. It has no whole fruit in, for a start. You can actually get jam and proper preserves in the USA, but they aren't jelly.

British took the name hoover instead of vacume cleaner due to the fact that Hoover were one of the first to produce one.
So there is definately such a thing as a Dyson hoover.
