Looking forward to this release

Steam are offering it playable from the 28th of this month as Beta inc 6 player unlocks for £35

Hmmm very tempting.

Was a massive Battlefield fan but the novelty seemed to wear off, can see this release getting me back in the groove!

Oh man I cant wait I played the heck out of BF2 and a little bit of bad company on the console, now all I need is a DX11 gpu

When BF2 was released it was very demanding it looks like BC2 will be the same. I think I am going to wait to see some benchmarks hopefully the engine scales well for older systems.

This is excellent, with BF3 confirmed in development as well gonnabe a good year, i loved battlefield2

Nice! I mean I knew about those sites but I just cba to check them cuz I thought they wouldn't have it listed yes as it's not released yet:p

Yes! Your system meets the recommended requirements for Battlefield Bad Company 2.

It should run well on your computer at high visual settings.

WOOHOOOO!! xD

Video Card

Recommended: 512 MB Graphics card (NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260 + / ATI Radeon HD 4870 +)

You Have: ATI display adapter (0x94B3)

Upgrade Suggested: Unfortunately, your Video Card does not meet this requirement.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO awwww that's so unfair xD Guess I'll be getting a second 4770 soon :p

So how do you think BF:BC2 will run on a 1.6Ghz processor? :p I'm planning to try it out first then buy a processor. lol

spotted this earlier on the bf blog

Play.com ftw?

Going to get mine from Game as it is £2 cheaper. Don't mind the fact that there is no Beta access. :p

works well here, i was running it at 2560x1600 4xAA, 16xAF with HBAO off

but now running it at 1920x1200 everything on high/enabled 4xAA, 16xAF and getting anywhere between 40-70 ish FPS

The Battlefield forums have been getting loads of mixed results. How does your rig run the game?

It runs fine on a GTX 260 at 1680x1050 High settings. No slowdowns, but it does feel quite unoptimised at the moment bearing in mind it is still in beta. I get around 30-70 FPS depending on how much action is going on (DX9 mode).

The gameplay itself is awesome
