Battlefield 5: Eastern Front is rumoured to be announced on May 6th at a press event, with game live streams expected later in the day. Are we returning to WWII?

It has been confirmed that a Battlefield World Premier will take place on May 6th a 9PM BST.

I'd really like to see a modern WWII shooter. I was all over CoD4:MW and Battlefield Bad Company when they came out, but now I feel bored of the modern stuff (haven't actually bought an FPS on PC since BioShock Infinite) and want something classic.

I swear to god I will give up my life for this game if it is indeed true, a proper WW2 shooter from DICE. It's pretty much my two biggest interests; WW2 (the Eastern front specifically) and a good FPS game. Red Orchestra does get a bit boring after a long time so something new is needed.
