Battlefield 4 Experience

Nowt fun in spawn = dead play......

What I do now is join games during the daytime when the kiddies are at school..... them bleeders are too fast for me!

But sometimes in the evening I like to have a game for shits and giggles...... always ends up in shits though! No giggles!

What do you play?and do you look at the sq member cam in the spawn screen?

Haha always ends up in shits and not giggles.

There's a feature now when you click on a squad member to spawn, if they're engaged, i.e you are HIGHLY likely to spawn into bullets... There will be 'warning' text on the bottom left preview screen. DO NOT SPAWN HERE unless it's critical you try to capture something where your team-mate is, or you are going to support them.

Spawn somewhere else, and come in from a prepared angle. If you spawn into gunfire the only person to blame now is yourself. if you choose to spawn into combat you should be prepared to get shot at immediately and/or die on spawn.

If you're the last guy in your squad and you're heavily engaged BACK OFF and disengage a little bit, chuck a grenade at them, or to the side of them to move their attention and pull back to let the rest of your squad spawn in safely to support you, refresh your health/magazine/grenades and then.. PUSH IN.

A little tactical thought is all it takes to succeed in this game, honestly.

If you truly are playing this game for the persistent stats, don't join me in a game. I play to win THAT match, if that means taking a tank shell to the face to get 2 engineers behind said tank to take it out, that's what happens. Granted I often come out of matches with 2~3 or even 5+ K/D That only happens because we support each other in a squad. Don't play for stats, play for your team, play to win. The high k/d will come along with it, if all you want is easy kills and stuff you won't succeed because you will be blinded to the bigger picture going on around you.

Support your team-mates, suppress the enemy (you get points for it, even if you're missing!!!) Ignore the accuracy stats, true team-players couldn't give a crap about how accurate they are so long as they ultimate outcome of the fight was a win. Even if you go down, but it leads to you getting a win in the engagement, the chances are a decent Medic will get you back up. you have NOTHING to lose.

True, it's always worth waiting a second before clicking deploy because even if you just watch the little cam view in the bottom left, you can see how much fire the guy may be coming under, as well as looking up at the map you can usually see the red marker so you can get an idea how far away and how many targets are around him then choose to avoid!

Mainly conquest, conquest large, domination, obliteration and rush...... I leave TDM well alone as that's like COD for me, well during the evening, it's not too bad in the day.

Not actual shits, the shits are me swearing and raging lol

That's what stats I'm talking about..... the WIN's stats!

I suck at BF4 for some reason, but rank Colonel 100 at BF3.

When ever I join a game, or squad there literally is no team play...... I run around playing the objective, repairing as an engineer, healing as assault and resupplying as supply dude...... but when you are doing this for a team of campers and well COD hero's there's no advantage and usually no winning!

I see what you are saying about the spawn screen / cam and yes I look, I see my squad and the objective we are trying to capture.... never seen any warning text though.

Yesterday I saw there was only 1 orange dorito engaging my two squad members, so I thought it would be safe to spawn on them....... how wrong was I, because two more orange dorito's spawned at the same time and I was like......

NOT AGAIN!

Let me give you an example of how the game plays for me............

XM25 Airburst - I shoot a guy towards the face area with 4 of them sneaky little explosives...... he doesn't die, oh no, he kills me with a pistol to the brain.

It's okay I can take it, lets move on...... next time I fire all 6 explosives towards same guy who is defending the flag...... all explode, in his vicinity and two actually hit him, he turns fires two of the exact same rounds at me and kill's me.... again I'm like:

Today I will play and have a good go at it, during the day..... but tonight, when the kids come home from school.... and it's always around 3:30GMT the game gets almost unplayable for me.

Thats when all those CoD clanboys, who when out of school do nothing but play the game and when come into contact with a woman = instant jizz when she says hi are playing. There is no beating them.

Edit: And if you do manage to kill them just once "OMG THATS GUYS HACKING, OH MY GOD!"

If you're being abused, press H.. no-more-chat window yay!

I don't actually know if those types play BF4 on the PC, I'm guessing there are some. Actually I have seen it in the chat window come to think of it. Lots of "Get to A you f'in noobs" "N00b Squad" but don't really pay attention to the chat box.

I'll probably join you on there tonight SuB, was going to fire it up last night but was really tired for some strange reason.

I think I'll be playing eve tonight mate, but if you see me on, do join in.

As for the 'noob team' chat stuff, it's usually people who have a few kills, who have lost a game. They blame their team.. instead of encouragement, it becomes abusive. Granted, I've shouted at some genuine, bonafied morons in this game over the in-game voip.. but yeah, no need to rage on the team when you're also IN that team.

No worries, I'll check if your on before I join a server. :)

Yeah, see a few comments but I just ignore it, the people that actually get bothered (if anybody) about being called a noob should just ignore it. I don't ever leave the team in the poo so it shouldn't be aimed at me. ^_^

F'in give up. Bent over, fingered, f'ed and shot and then any key on the keyboard minimises the game. Why did I get back into PC's? Pissed off.

That sounds strange, do you wait for the game to load the screen on it's own? Or do you get impatient like me and click the icon in the taskbar after a few seconds?

I give it a few seconds then open it, would it be worth waiting for it to open itself?

It hasn't done it in ages so I thought it had been patched but all of a sudden last night I couldn't run as a sniper so I crouched and then it worked, next think I pressed 2 for my handgun and it minimsed, so clicked back in, but then I knew from there I may as well give up, so pressed Esc...minimises so click back in and quit the game, go to open up which is minimised Internet Explorer, "BOOM DO YOU WANT TO ALLOW THE FOLLOWING PROGRAM..." AHHHH so I just gave up altogether.

Okay firstly, what the hell do you have internet explorer even INSTALLED for?!

Get Google Chrome on there and you'll probably fix the issue.

Lol just configured it when I installed Windows 8 and haven't bothered to put Chrome on, I can try but I can't see how the browser will fix it, it's that shit game, I have given up on it altogether now, I ranked up a few times last night but that was it for me, I've just built a gaming PC for one game and the game don't even work! EA/DICE can suck on my...yeah. ^_^

Also try going into your BF4 folder, right click on the BF4 .exe and go to properties.
Click the compatibility tab and check the box that says "run this program as Administrator"

I had probs with the game starting minimized, running as admin fixed it for me. I never had any probs while the game was running though, just when it first loaded and in between loading maps.

You're venting so I'll let it slide, but it's not a shit game, you're acting like a battlelog noob and blaming the game for something which is probably your fault. Building a gaming PC for one game, or at least saying you are is stupid. Telling them to suck anything is just going to get you a warning....

First mistake, is using IE. Get that sorted, get the plugin installed in chrome. Then we'll go from there.

Aldo do what SieB said, get it running as admin and that will probably solve some of your issues. Personally I'd get UAC turned the f'off because it's nothing but a hinderance to gamers. But in this scenario I won't say that's a good idea as you've just proven it's best that be left on for you ;)
