Bad i5 3570k

Rather than changing the CPU Clock Ratio (Image 2) try changing each cores turbo ratio (Image 3). With my board/CPU (D3H/ 3570k) doing the above allows me to get better results. I can get 4.5 GHz @ 1.25 V, 4.6 GHz @ 1.32 v & 4.7 GHz @ 1.35, my LLC is set to High. I've been unable to get to 4.8 GHz even with a Vcore of 1.45.

The general consensus is that the silicon will start degrading at around the 1.30-1.32v area - Although TBH the life-span won't significantly be impaired, at least it's not noticeable in the short term. You may notice the stability of the overclock will dwindle over time in which case you'll need to increase the voltage or reduce the clock speed - However 1.45v is pretty high for 24/7 usage unless you have a beefy cooler. I would aim for the 1.35v mark at most, however 1.35v SHOULD correlate to around 4.5-4.6Ghz whereas 1.45v+ is heading into 4.8Ghz+ territory.
