Ok well as you know a while ago I played with my two little 1/6th hp compressors but I got stuck because I only had R507 and R134a the temps weren't that great, but now I stuck some CO2 in the second stage at one point I managed -73 but didnt get a pic lol

Here is well the number of the beast

Not good at all the compressors are too small for the pressure but I am glad I built it to see if it would or wouldn't work but as it can't hold 210W I will disasemble it and get bigger compressors for it :)

Well it's about time mate :D that's really awesome!

Making a cascade out of compressors that small isn't about a working system, it's about getting a handle on how to get the system together and learning your way to the next one.

If you got a 100w resistor and stuck that on there, I think you'd be able to get it to hold the load for you and on a gpu that'd be about right, but now that you've got this one under your best, I look forward to the next one ;)

I've ordered in a bunch of 3/4HP rotaries for a decent price, so I'm finally set to get back to work on my cascade adventures. Once they arrive I'll have to post some pics of 'em too.

Getting even just a screenie of -70 with a tiny little compressor is awesome and I'm very impressed :B

Cheers

Cheers Grey but we all know you are the cascade guru mate, I will have another fiddle when I get the time and some cash lool but I did enjoy playing with the system next I will have to build an oil sep (or buy one ) and play with fitting one of them into the loop

Nice start fatty, look forward to seeing more cascades from you in the future, glad to hear you had fun with it :)
