Award verification

I was just looking at a memorial day specials email from NewEgg, they had this product on sale: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16875941066

They claim: "Gold Award and Silence Award from Overclock3d.net"

It sounded fishy that a Lightning connector would win a Silence award, so I came here and searched and couldn't find a review or award for that product. Maybe I Just suck at searching. But if not, and if it never really won that award, someone should call out NewEgg.

Can anyone confirm/verify that it didn't win those awards?

Something definitely went wrong on their end. As far as I know and can find, OC3D has never reviewed a charging cable, let alone give a cable a silence award?

I saw this too yesterday on newegg! I ignored it because I knew it was false. It's really false advertising.. I think they meant to say Overclock.net not Overclock3d.net... also have no fucking clue why it's a silence award which I thought said enough about the award/product. They should remove it though because it kinda gives OC3D a bad image.

^I think the thing might have the same SKU/EAN as something else that was reviewed here?
But I agree Newegg should remove it.
