AVI Files not playing - just audio

I know its codecs, but which/what do I need? Preferably one to play all popular codec forms

download a program called g-spot/gspot, and it will tell you which codec you need

You could do that but I actually use all the codecs that come with K-lite so figure I might as well do it all in one download lol. One thing you might not want with K-lite is all the encoding / decoding tools

Does that work by, if u like, right clicking on a file and it tells u ? and does it do it properly ?

No, you open the video in gspot and it gives you details about the file

dont use the k0lite codec pack as it's illgal. The mpeg2 decoders are copyrighted and they dont have the rights to redistribute them.
