Avexir Blitz 1.1 Glowing Goodness ^_^

Thought I'd share a little vid of the memory in action because 1 or 2 said it was cool looking memory ^_^ -

*Please excuse the poor quality*

Shame you can't set the effects :(

What software did you end up using to test the RAM?

Well if you order through Avexirs site you can select the option to have it be on all the time but I like the slow strobing effect :)

Well first after the overclock to 2500MHZ I tested using memtest and then I did the standard benches i.e cinebench gained about 40 points but that could also be down to chance/lucky run.

BF4 did actually end up feeling smoother but that could of been a placebo effect.

I gained maybe 1% in other bench tests but again that could come down to margin of error.

I was just going to ask is there and specific order to the flashing or could you change it manually.

Totally random order :)

Check this Shiznitz out! I prefer the Avexir II concept design...

The lights on your modules are controlled by program memory access.

Yeah that exact concept they've had "in the works" since before the first core series came out which is quite a few years now.

Although I like the look when you start introducing stuff like that I'd hate to think what could go wrong and even I have to admit, Sometimes too much bling is not good.

Plasma RAM! I'd have that!

Dicehunter, I might be imagining it, but I think you may be able to sequence the strobe by swapping the ram sticks around?

From right to left, i.e. 4,3,2,1, the sequence in your video seems to be 2, 1, 3, 4. Swap the two sticks on the right and the effect might sweep right to left?

I wish that was possible but they randomly switch, For a few seconds before they were all lighting up at the same time then slowly 1 would lag behind the other etc etc... totally random ^_^

Thanks for the thought though :)

Be like a car and try and change the firing order. I think it does look really good with 4 sticks. 1 or 2 would look Meh.
