Hi, i am using a ASUS HD4850 Graphics card coupled with ASUS P5Q Deluxe motherboard. Recently my motherboard has experienced a spate of problems like unable to initiate the monitor, keyboard and mouse. After some rumaging through i tried with separate graphics card from matrox, which aided me into jump-starting my spanking new pc. After a few consecutive boot-ups, i have found out that my computer seems to prompt me to install the driver for the audio device installed on the high definition audio bus. The paradox is my motherboard supports onboard sound, but i did not install any sound card - but initialized my onboard audio support. The rationale perturbs me, as i thought by disabling the bios option for onboard audio support. I could solve the problem for the yellow question mark for the audio device, recalcitrant as it seems the icon still pops up for a request of the driver. Could anyone care to enlighten me on this matter, as far as i could recall i have seen threads mentioning about a similar issue. Greatly appreciate if anyone could help thank you.
