Audigy 2 + Vista?

Is anyone else having issues with this card under Vista? Why on Earth aren't Creative releasing a proper update for their drivers

I just got an Audigy for free, popped it in w/Vista Home Prem. x64, downloaded the drivers from their site and it works fine! Uses the same drivers as the Audigy 2 ZS too..

1 thing they never do is try `older` cards in new stuff. Their cards crap out in new mobos - pffft, they release a new soundcard. U have to try the existing ones on the site. Other people have ur card in Vista I`m sure.

Will say this as a heads up for any1 tho : New Creative XFi Vista drivers out >.<

There are major issues with getting EAX etc to work properly, and also the volume is a lot lower in Vista then XP.

Have they finally added Dolby Digital 5.1 and DTS support?

I think they have, at least for the XFi cards. Creative aren't lazy the HAL changed in Vista, this is the layer of the OS that communicates with drivers and hardware, but anyway because of this Creative have to re-write a vast portion of the driver code from scratch and the XFi cards got priority due to them being newer.
