ATI Radeon HD 3650

Hi,

I purchased an ATI radeon VTX 3D HD3650 1GB. I installed it and drivers as per instructions, but when the card is in pcie slot the computer wont power on, an orange light just flashes. I have a dell dimension e520. would it be a psu issue?

Is the light on the motherboard or the GPU?

Have you plugged the power lead into the gpu?

the light on the mother board stays on, the flashing comes from the power button on the front of the desktop.

Do any fans spin up or anything like that? Please explain exactly what happens after you press the power button.

Is the card properly inserted into the pcie slot?

on my mobo i get a red led light if the card isnt inserted properly so that might be the problem

the card is properly inserted and secured. when the power button is pressed no fans come on, the pc doesn't boot up at all, the power button on the front just flashes orange.

what power supply are you using???

if the pc works with other cards it really sounds like its faulty dude tbh.

either that or the bios on your mobo doesnt support it.
