I am planing build new gaming rig.

But I can't chose motherboard and cpu.

Prizes are converted from my currency to USD.

If I go with 2500K ( 246 $ ) then i am looking at Asus P8P67 ( 174 $ ) or MSI P67A-GD65 ( 113 $ )

But if I go with 3570K ( 273 $ ) then i am looking at Asus P8Z77-V ( 204 $ ) or MSI Z77A-GD55 ( 193 $ )

Asus has more features but is that worth extra bucks?

And 2500K planing OC to 4.6-4.9 Ghz is better than 3570K OC to 4.5 GHz for gaming? Keeping in mind Ivy bridge temperature issue.

Other planned specs:

CPU cooler - H60 or H80

RAM - Crucial Ballistix Elite 4GB 1600Mhz CL8

Storage - Crucial M4 64 Gb for OS and current HDD for games and media.

GPU - Asus GTX 560ti TOP (already purchased)

PSU - Corsair GS600 (already purchased)

Case - Corsair 300R (already purchased)

both 2500k or 3570k builds are fine. Not sure which features you like on the Asus board but the MSI has everything you need in and more. Pick whichever you want.

With your build based around a gtx 560 there is no way either of those cpus are going to limit your fps at max settings on 1080p. Infact in order for the cpu to be a bottleneck you are probably going to need 3 cards but then the bottleneck would be so high (like 100fps) that it makes no difference to gameplay.

The IB temperature issue is overplayed. You can still get 4.5-4.7 on good air coolers (and a little more on water). This is so much more than you need.

I'd suggest you get another 4gb of RAM to make it 8.

Do you think H60 will be enough?

Maybe you can suggest decent but not very expensive 8 Gb kit?

H60 will be ok for a mid 4ghz OC (probs 4.3-4.5ghz range) which will do you.

2x4gb sticks of:

Corsair vengeance 1600mhz

or

Mushkin Enhanced blackline Frostbyte 1600mhz

M&P

Thanks a lot for advice. Then I will go with 3570K cooled by H80 on MSI board witch Vengeance 8Gb ram.

I only has last question.

Only difference between GD65 and GD55 are more power phase and dual bios is that worth 32$

GD65 also has 2 extra sata 3 6gb/s ports if you need more than 2...but you only have 2 drives in you list anyway.

The 55 is just great for overclocking. If you were trying to break records then the extra 3 phases would be useful (like 6ghz+)

dual bios - again benchers tend to swear by it but I've never wished I'd had it.

Then again - it is only 32$ so you might a well (it's like £30/60$ difference here)

For my budget that is pretty tight.

If there so small difference than I will get GD55.

Big thanks for help.
