Is it just me or does Asus have no customer service what-so-ever??

I went to the website and I needed customer service so they said to contact them vis phone, I phoned them and they just told me to go to the website.

WTF.

Even just an email so I can email them...but no nothing.

I know someone else mentiones Asus' customer support in another thread but I couldn't find it.

I just want help with my motherboard :(

Does anyone know a way I can actually contact them?

Ring them and tell them to do their frickin' job. I've rang them before and they tried to tell me to go elsewhere, I replied 'mate all I wanted to know is why this board is so shi*t' and it obviously got his attention haha. Ended up RMAing it.

Whats the problem youre having?

Based on the other thread I'm doubting that ASUS will do much as it sounds more like a software/driver issue than anything hardware (considering it works in safe mode?).

Have you tried downloading the latest NIC drivers from the chipset manufacturers website? For example if its a Marvell NIC, take a look at what they have in the way of new drivers.

I recently had a problem with a motherboards onboard sound + vista, manufacturer website had no fixes but the Realtek site did.

I had a major problem with an old ASUS board, tried to join the forum NO GO, said that it was busy and to try later. I did for 4 fricking days and no hope. Their website was slow, and would keep directing me to some Japanese website. Gave up in the end.

Yeah thats the problem i'm having at the mo, it says the website is busy.

I've tried the marvell website but I can't find the drivers on it :(

Does the motherboard manual mention what chipset the NIC has? We should be able to dig something up from somewhere.

Surprized there's no enthusiast support forum for them tbh. Users helping users as I appreciate the ASUS support does kinda suck.

I've updated the BIOS and restarted a few times, seems to be running fine now, i'll post again if there is no luck

Haha I know exactly what you mean with the website says to call them and on the phone it says go to the website...

If you go to the business network section on the phone they answer it and you can then just ***** at them from there... I got an RMA sorted like that.

As Jim said...it looks like it could be a software/driver issue.

As for the support, *****ing and moaning at people never gets a good response...

If it's a problem with your motherboard, or you think it is, then the standard proceedure is to take it back to your place of purchase who will RMA it. If they've closed down, then ASUS use a third-party repair solution in the UK.
