My NB is 66C and the SB is 56C now its hot here nothing is over clocked atm but the alarm for the SB overheating is going off whats the safe temp for it its a asus formula 4.

a tad warm what were ya doing when it sounded off??? long gaming?? first off there was a reported issue with the hs assembly bing mounted inproperly I beleive I ststed it before for ya. Frm what I gathered the screws were switched so the ones for nb were on sb and vice versa, Have you done anything yet as far as that?? or evben just reseating it??

i was playing cod 4 but its night now and cooler was playing it during the day nothing happened ive checked that and when the HS was removed both were making good contact.

cool but dont expect cpu temps lol cause they are passively cooled. I read somewhere up to 70c is ok but I wouldnt like to see mine there lol

well im upgrading to water cooling soon and the rad will be external so hopefully temps will go down as less heat inside case also i will be using MX 4 on all the heat sinks so temp will go down as well.

By default in the BIOS the NB and SB shut down at 90C so they must get a bit hot.
