Asus Sabertooth Z87, Sound Quality ?

Have to send my Phoebus back and was wondering if anyone knew what the sound quality is like on the Sabertooth Z87 compared to the phoebus.
I would test myself but I'm in work for the next few hours.

Any info is appreciated.

Well, if you're used to the Phoebus, on-board is going to suck assuming you have decent headphones/speakers. If you have £10 speakers from Tesco you're good

As far as I know, the Sabertooth series don't have a dedicated audio section either like the ROG stuff has. Why do you have to send it back though?

The light on it just blinked off the other day and the sound is like your listening from the other side of a door, Tried it in a friends rig and the same story, RMA should be fairly quick though, I hope ^_^
