ASUS Sabertooth Z77 of Asus P8-Z77-V Deluxe?

Hey guys, I have a bit of a dilemma! I'm building a new rig based on the i7 3770K, 32GB of Corsair Dominator Platinum RAM, Corsair HX-850 PSU, a 250GB samsung 840 Pro SSD and 3 3TB WD Red Drives! I can't decide between the Sabertooth Z77 of the P8Z77-V Deluxe motherboard, they're about 5 Euros apart from amazon, so don't tell me about price! What would you recommend? Also, what would I use the extra LAN port on the Deluxe for?

What will you be using the computer for?
Both will give you similar performance, the deluxe probably has a few more features - but whether you'll actually use them or not is a different question!

Then the thermal armour on the Sabretooth - that's just for aesthetics, but if you like the look of that, then it's a good choice.

You'd be better saving your money and getting the MSI Z77 mPower, or GD65 however. The higher end Asus boards are overpriced really.

I'll be using the computer for gaming, with my 2 GTX 680's that I forgot to mention in the post, as well as video editing and web design! What extra features are there other than the Bluetooth, Wifi and extra back panel USB ports?

I'd personally go for the MSI mPower or GD65 then. They offer the same performance, if not better than the Asus boards, and are considerably cheaper.

I have the Z77-v deluxe and it is a great board. But you end up paying for the features like dual ethernet - that you'll never use, and the wifi/bluetooth that sucks anyway, and you should never be using wifi on a desktop anyway.
You also get all the Digi power controls for power saving, that don't really make any difference, and are just a waste of money IMO.

Similar story with the Sabretooth. It's a stripped down board, purely made for performance (as the MSI mPower is, might I add) so you don't waste money on pointless power saving features - but instead you waste money needlessly on the thermal armour that does nothing at all - and looks terrible IMO (obviously if you like the design that's fair enough...) but you certainly won't benefit from having it.
