does anybody else have this setup ive tryed to overclock the pc and it just blue screens no matter what setting u change with a blue screen message ov machine-check-exeption im running 0007 bios as well with 8 pin and 4 pin cpu power cord in



asus rampage v extreme
5930k cpu
16gb gskill ripjaw 2666mhz memory

What settings have you altered, and by how much?

tbh m8 doesnt matter what setting u change it just blue screens every thing was default u set it to xmp it will blue screen if u set it to xmp do the timings and set the volts it blue screens its a total knightmare

Reset CMOS then run a bootable memory test. If that checks out you need to up the voltages first before going for any other settings.

we done a mem test all spot on we even tryed 2 different h/drives if u go into the 2nd bios it just goes nuts and it will boot for 2 seconds reboot then do that loop till u press the safe mode button that buttons a god sent tbh

Could be crap bios software. Other than that I'm out of ideas - sorry

same ive even got a m8 on here that knows his shizzle about overclocking and he cant even get it to overclock ive sent it back for a RMA but having some chew over it

Probably just needed the bios updating or something else was borked. Always good to get it running at stock first and then do things gradually.

Regarding the memory; sometimes XMP settings don't actually work so manually enter them or leave at default for now.

i know were tryed all bios's still the same we tryed the xmp with the volts set as should be and we set the memory manual as well and still blue screens or reboot loops ive RMA'd it i bought it from amazon which in turn come from lambadatek which when i phoned them about the RMA were very arragant and actualy put the phone down on me while mentioning it only crashes trying to overclock it
