I like to know if same one can help me? I got corsair h100i v2 I like to know if I can connect the h100i to water pump heather on motherboard instead of the cpu and the pc still going to post and start or just going not work... I didn't Install any hardware I'm just asking...

Regard Carlos

I don't see why it wouldn't work... I'm don't have hands on experience with that board but most people plug it into the cpu fan header so I doubt using the pump header would be much different.

Most motherboards won't post unless they detect a cpu fan connected to be sure that the cpu won't overheat...

I think that you can turn that feature off by setting that fan header to be ignored in the bios..

You can simply connect the h100i pump to the pump header and then connect the h100i fans to the fan header and you'll be all set

As above you may just need to sort some BIOS settings out but it will work fine. Remember to set the waterpump header up too :)
