I'm real curious about how these will perform within the current line up. It's all getting a little congested up at the top.
We have the 390 that is just a bit faster than the 970. The 390X that is around the speed of the 980 and the FuryX that is around the same performance as the 980 Ti. Along with the TitanX at the top of the heap.
Now we are going to have the Fury, It's going to be trading blows with the 390X isn't? Some situations faster others the difference may be marginal. It's going to be tricky to differentiate with two cards, if the real world performance is going to be similar. They will have vastly different technology but real tight on performance.
Fury will be quiet a bit faster than a 390x. It's in the middle between the 390x/FuryX in regards to stream processors, but it has a much higher amount of Texture Units which will give it quiet a big edge over the 390x. IMO it'll be what the 980ti is the to TX. Just cheaper. It'll probably be the card to get in regards to price/performance at the higher end. I can't wait till Nano comes out to see what they are going to do with that.
