Picking one of these up today to go with my SLI setup , and just wanting to be sure im not being an idiot. It says it has 2x 16x PCI-E this is what i would be looking for to get the most from my SLI setup ?

I think the second PCI-E slot is wired for 8x, but it is still a physical 16x slot. The difference in performance with the differing bandwidth is insignificant and you will get optimal performance

At the moment with one card you will get full 16x speeds, but with two gpu's you will get 8x, 8x.

Yup. In terms of performance you don't need to worry as the difference between 16x and 8x is minute

Thats right, the scaling on SLI has improved massively from when it first appeared, as yassarikahn786 has said, the difference is very little but with two cards, you will see an improvement
