Asus Ez tuning wizard non k cpu

Hey there

Just a quick question, is it safe and possible to use the ez tuning wizard to automatically overclock a non k cpu? I got a i5-4670 and a corsair h100i cooler. It says i can get 15%+ performance but im not sure if it is safe.

I can't see that being possible at all. You can increase the base clock to get 1 or 2 % but it's risky.

Would be amazed if this actually works.

Personally I wouldn't risk it with a non K cpu, you have little/no control and all you'll really be able to do is change the BCLK (Base Clock) which is damaging and risky. If you want to OC get a K chip.

Most Haswell locked cpu's will go up to 105BLCK, if you're lucky you will get to 110blck,

I know it sounds wierd but the overclocking capability of your locked haswell cpu will depend a lot on your graphic card.

This has to be done manually via bios

What motherboard do you have? not all support changing the blck
